One of our main values is that our fashion design is made in Spain and that provides us a differential aspect comparing to other Bangladesh’s manufacturers companies.
We also have a fabric sourcing in China.
Our Bangladeshi adventure started more than 20 years ago
and some years later, nath 2004, S.L established its first factory in the country.
Tamai Knit Fashion, Ltd. is the manufacturer arm of nath, a group of garments companies from Spain, with operations in Tunisia, China, India, and Bangladesh. Coming soon we will initiate operations in Myanmar and Ethiopia.
According to the World Trade Organization, China’s garments exports have declined from $207 billion in 2014, to $177 billion in 2017, showing how the country is losing its attractiveness as a sourcing fountain. On the other hand, Bangladesh is expected to remain as a RMG hotspot in the near coming future, in accordance with McKinsey Apparel CPO Survey 2017.
Due to this promising potential future in Bangladesh, in 2017 nath 2004, S.L decided to launch a very ambition expansion plan in the country, that will transform Tamai into a 36 production lines factory, with more than 1,400 employees, and annual turnover above $30M USD by 2022.
